Online analyzers are operated at any time, all year round, namely 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days (24/7/365). An alert warning from online analyzer means that a failure has taken place and timely response is required. Repairing the problem early is needed to prevent long-term system downtime and reduce financial losses. Conventional approach was setting the automatic alert thresholds, but it has proven challenging because of common nuisance alarms. Recently, predictive maintenance techniques have been introduced in many industrial applications to effectively manage operations and maintenance by analyzing detailed machine health information. Condition monitoring focuses on real-time conditions, while predictive maintenance has focused on the very early detection of defects in advance. The most current advancements in condition-based maintenance require automation of the analysis process using AI models. Rich data streams from diverse sensors and cloud connectivity are enabling AI models to detect the alert conditions automatically and translate it to a very specific maintenance task.
