Centennial Technology is going to participate in the project to restore ecosystems in downstream section of El Harrach River in Algeria. El Harrach river flows from Blida State to the Mediterranean Sea crossing the Alger State. This projet is a follow-up of the ministerial meeting between Korea and Algeria. This project is a joint contract between Daewoo E&C and Algerian Cosider (Daewoo E&C 70%, Cosider 30%), and will be implemented for the next 3 years and 6 months from the date of contract for an 18km river section. The project details include the creation of a filter garden, landscaping of the waterfront area, installation of convenience facilities for residents, and establishment of a water quality and flood monitoring system. aims to create The El Harash River has a BOD level of 200 mg/ℓ, which is polluted in water quality and has a low flow rate, making it difficult to maintain a healthy river ecosystem. The 500 million USD project constitutes a part of the master plan for the improvement of the environmental condition of Algeria. The Korean government has taken the lead in economic diplomacy, allowing many Korean firms to find their way into the local market.
